The 10 animals you see above are from an animal shelter in New Milford, CT. According to the Stamps to the Rescue website: "We want more Americans to know about the millions of shelter pets that need good homes. Nearly half of the animals that enter animal shelters are euthanized. Many of these cats and dogs would have made a wonderful pet...if only given the chance." These stamps go on sale today!

I love the new stamps. A few years back USPS did a spay/neuter stamp. Wish they'd keep these around all the time, instead of limiting the amount of time they're available.
